107.9 RTC UI FM, WE ARE RECRUITING!!!

Dearest fellows, here's my event:

107.9 RTC UI FM

Radio Tele Cipta (RTC) a.k.a 107.9 RTC UI FM is one of the students club in Universitas Indonesia that engaged in broadcasting, particularly in radio. RTC UI FM's management entirely done by its colleagues (term for the members of RTC UI FM).

Every year, we're recruiting new mebers to join us with the aim of regeneration. And in every recruiting periods we're recieve approximately 200 applicants. We have ten (10) division that run 107.9 RTC UI FM; Technician, IT, Creative and Production, Event Organizer, Reporter, Mraketing and Communication, Producer, Music Director, Announcer, and Mushalla (Announcer, MD, Producer).

This recruitment is opened for all Universitas Indonesia's students class of 2009 and 2010. You can get our application form at the Open House (27 -29 Oct) 9 am - 5 pm or come to 2nd floor of Pusgiwa Teknik (behind KanTek) at 9 am - 7 pm (27 oct - 10 nov).


The application form starts from 25k for 1 division and
40k for 2 divisions.

Sorry for neglecting this blog for a very long time. I've been so busy doing my college's stuffs. This 5th semester was abnormal. First day of the semester, my lecturer asked me to write down the major, topic, and purpose of my thesis. It's sounds like hell in your first day of college (even you're in the 5th semester).

They give me tons of ASSignments. Those are keep coming, one before another done.









They doubled my translation. Lecture Contrôlé, we're given 2 novels in french that we have to read then they give us an exam about the novels. As I told you that they've doubled the translation... now we got 4 novels to read.







Nah... I'm not (yet) gonna ask somebody to married. So... I have 2 events in two months that I should handle. It's kind of important event for both club. And it's stressing to make 2 proposals in a week.



And this semester still have, at least, 1,680 hours to go.

BLACK SWAN by Darren Aronofsky

I found an upcoming movie by Darren Aronofsky, a thriller drama movie titled Black Swan. It played at the opening night of Venice Film Festival 2010 and became a selection of Toronto Film Festival 2010. This is the plot summary from The Internet Movie Database:

"Nina (Portman) is a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her obsessive former ballerina mother Erica (Hershey) who exerts a suffocating control over her. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side - a recklessness that threatens to destroy her."

A psychological thriller. I really can't wait to watch this movie.

The Rainbows

It was Monday, December 1 2008. It's raining in the afternoon. After class, I decided to go back to my board right away. I was afraid if it's raining again, beside I bring no umbrella. FYI, I always like the smell after the rain. It's a way relaxing :)

I look at the afternoon sky. There were two rainbows. Aye. Two. There was a space between them. A span if we look them from here, the earth. But it's maybe more than a hundred thousand kilo meter in the exact distance. Both of them are beautiful. They look so... charming. They don't need to have some different things to look compatible.

It was a God's will not to get them together। Putting them in distance to keep their beauty. They'll keep their own charm until the sky becomes orange. Maybe the beauty remains if they stay away from each others.

Love Is a Loosing Game

Well well... Talking about love is totally a MESS. It's come and go as it pleased. Without saying "Hello" and just "Goodbye". Unpredictable. We will never know to whom we will fall for until the day. The day when the one you fall for start to satisfy your mind. Il vient et reste dans notre tete.

Have you ever wonder why we fall for this guy? Poor us. OK, poor me. Because I think I will never have a good reason to explain. Like everyone said, if we found the reason why we love someone. Then is not love. As they say that love has no reason, has it any foundation? Like... like a building. To make the sturdy one, we have to start build a strong foundation. Another question comes out, what's the different about "foundation to love" and "reason to love"? Anyone? Oh really, this things confuse me. Is love have something in common with sacrifice? Because everyone said (again), love is a sacrifice. If we recall that most of the love stories have it. Another question, is love will always give and will never strive?

If it's so... I've never been in love. Because during this time, I mostly have some reasons to love someone. And about that sacrifice's thing, which I take as a "give", for me it's usually followed by a "strive". See, that was not what love is. Maybe love is the time when a couple voluntarily give every inch of their own to each other. Maybe it depends on your luck. If you lucky enough, you will get into what I called as win-win condition, the circumstance where none about to aggrieved. Or if you're in a bad luck, it will be win-loose condition, where one take an advantage of another and the other got nothing. Yes, sometime it's a loosing game.
